Also, it would only just have been getting dark, sunset being over 15 minutes later in west Wales than in London.I live 20 minutes north of Cardiff. I just popped out to tesco at 7:20 and it was very very dark outside.
That’s cos Wales closes down for the night at 6pm. 
I have a (nearly) 2 year old biological daughter, and 4 step kids aged between 7-11, and can only imagine how the parents are feeling.
I can only hope that she is returned unharmed.

Really sad for her family.I don’t mean to be disrespectful considering this story.
BUT why was a 5year old out at that time by her self? It’s getting darker much earlier in the evenings now. At 7:30 it is pretty dark outside. Why was she out alone??

My heart goes out to those parents of this little girl…mine is nearly six yrs old i would be beside myself if someone took her…should string the t…t up by the knackers but thats to good, like a lot of parents on here i hope and wish she is found ok.
I have a 4 yr old to be 5 in FEB, the circumstance could be she was in the front garden we will never know 100% but the scum who abducted her is sick … i hope she is ok, but I feel the poor kid will not be found alive and well …

The news is now that they have extended the warrant and have until 5pm on Friday to charge him or release him. They must have something on him to hold him that long, but is he playing games?
It seems strange that they arrested him walking but found his range rover almost immediately at a repair garage, well they must have been able to get some clues or DNA from that if she had been in it so recently!

Unfortunately after 2 days of no search results I think the police knew they would be extremely lucky to find the girl alive.
After 24hours of the disappearance the chances of finding the victim alive fall an awful lot by the hour.
After 5 days it’s almost certain that she is no longer alive.
They should lock this ■■■■ in a tiny cage and leave him there till the day he dies!
people always say that hanging and lethal injections should be bought back for crimes like this, IMO those methods are way to kind! He should suffer for as long as possible!
Mark Bridger has now been charged with the murder of April Jones.
It’s sad that April couldn’t be found alive but I’m afraid it was always likely to end like this

Unfortunately that’s true
I hope he never gets to see the light of day again.
Also would be nice if he was imprisoned with the general population and not protected. He’ll get what he deserves then.
