I was in Australia a couple of years ago, and round every corner one of their trucks appear. A major player in the southern hemisphere it seems

HI, I worked for Linfox in Scotland. They had the Burmah petroleum and Fina contracts, They were in the the uk for 5years then lost the contract for Burmah (save) petroleum.I have never heard of them since, if you go to oil companies and look for sniffy on this site you will see linfox tankers in burmah livery.(they were not a bad lot to work for). MATT.

They are in New Zealand as well as Australia go to www.Xtrucking.com go into the forum and then to General Truck Talk you will be able to see loads of them, I may be wrong but I think they are ■■■■■■■ with Toll now. Eddie.

Linfox had the Petrofina contract out of Lindsey Oil Refinery late 90s.The drivers weren’t impressed I remember, they delivered derv to our Wincanton site.I think Wincanton or maybe Hoyer took over from them.

Hi anyone have any photos of a company back in the 1980s called LINFOX .I worked for them on the Burmah contract in Grangemouth , They lost the contract to p&o and i have never heard of them again, They were an Australian company not a bad lot to work for, We had FH12 volvos sleeper cabs great lorries to drive. Like a lot of drivers i never carried a camera as it was a pain handing it into security everytime you went to load .They used to park the tankers up in (i think it was sadlers yard) on haverton hill road. They also used to park up at Lindsey oil refinery i used to do some change overs at these depots when i worked for them.

Hi Matt, I hope that this may be of interest to you.

They are to be found all over Thailand, all sizes and shapes of vehicles.

You can’t miss their distinctive logo.
