License Points

I’m interested in taking class 2 but have 6 points on my license courtesy of roadside cameras. What impact (if any)will this have on acquisition of provisional C license and/or, afterwards, on employment prospects (be it agency or full-time) ? I.e. am I wasting my time and money taking the test before the expiry of these points?

Would appreciate anybody’s thoughts/ advice

It doesnt normally affect you taking a test or getting a licence, but if you get done for anything else, even overloading or drivers hours offences you are obliged to tell the traffic commisioner.

Your points will come off after 4 years (valid for 3)

Most companies say maximum 6 points, it depends how badly they need drivers
