Licence question

Right, so I have passed my cat c my mid 2 and 4, but can’t send my licence away yet as I have a course I need my licence for on the 14th…

Would I be ok doing work before I send off my licence? I have all my pass certificates so can always show them… Or do I need to wait until my licence gets sent off with the new class and wait for my cpc card to come through before anything?

Got told I need to make my 35 hours of training before September? I thought I now have 5 years from the date I passed my mod 4?

I’d say that would be down to the employer, some insist on seeing the actual licence.

I do not know of one employer/agency who does not insist on seeing the licence before they set you on

You have 5 years from when you passed all the initial modules - that date will be on your DQC

You will likely need a digicard

The agency I’m with were happy to see my pass certs and they rang DVLA to confirm my categories and clean licence etc.

DQC (dcpc card) comes automatically after passing all the modules - do not send licence to get that

Could anyone recommend a good training facility for hiab? As wanting to do recovery work so would be a big advantage.

I’m from mid Wales but travelling south is horrid, so prefer somewhere north Wales or just across the border :slight_smile:
