Appeal for information.
My obsession with road transport comes from the days when my late father worked for Smith of Maddiston.
He was a tramper then a night trunker working out of the Stockton on Tees depot.
In March 1980 I appeared on the bbc programme “jim ill fix it” driving a brand new T45.
My appeal is to find out where this T45 ended up.
Which company bought it, where was it used and where is it now?
Any relevant information on this T45 or Smith of Maddiston would be gratefully received.
