Great news for the high streets if this comes to pass

Saw this yesterday, unbelievable. Thick as â– â– â– â– these government bods.
I hope it does happen so every truck can bring a whole town centre to a standstill until they get the point of what double yellow lines are actually for.
Let chaos commence

Read this myself the other day. Thankfully the top rated comments under the article are of the sensible variety.
Remember the Aberystwyth experiment where they got rid of parking enforcement?

I’d be happy to see this done nationwide for a week, just so everyone can witness the anarchy it would create and realise the importance of parking restrictions. I’m personally in favour of draconian parking enforcement - park where you shouldn’t & get a ticket. It’s clear cut, everybody knows where they stand. As soon as you start showing leniance people start taking the ■■■■, this is a fact.
Aberystwyth was a crap place to tip even before the wardens were laid off. I used to do a regular delivery to a health food shop there about 10 years ago; roll cages and usually a pallet too, and you had to drag it all halfway up the street cos the loading bay (if you could get in it for cars) was right at the bottom.
The two male wardens weren’t too bad but the girl was a complete cow, even the locals were glad to see the back of her.
