hello people!when i came across this thread somehow while google-ing something or other,i thought i’d better join up.i was on Wesmore Haulage for 16 years and was Mr.West’s last driver on his last truck before he gave up on haulage.i also worked for National Carriers,Carryfast at North Kilworth,Redland,and after Wesmores,Squires Logistics at Enderby.i’ll post some photo’s when i work out how to!

Like the Wesmore tippers. Here’s a few I bought from a show a few year back.

brilliant photo’s BonkeyDollocks! thanks for posting them.brings back a lot of memories,as a couple of the lads have passed on :cry: i think the split-screen Foden was the one that tipped over whilst tipping a load of sand.Ian Ford was the grandson of Billy Ford (Ford&Slater)i believe,and our gaffer ran the company,and they were parked in Wesmore’s yard.

hello gunner.no.i.left squires 2 years ago,but still keep in touch with the tranter bros.yes sparky has jacked in there as well,and it was his company! i believe he is on stobarts now on a wagon and drag.i also hear squires are leaving their yard and moving elsewhere.
