Morning.
Monday, I have my usual delivery in Leeds, then instead of going to Gainsboro to reload, I have to go to Fenton in Stoke On Trent to drop my lorry off to be wrapped, then take a hire car home, have Tuesday off, then back to pick lorry up Wednesday dinnertime.
The job I have had for the last 3 years sees me doing the same routes all the time from Norfolk, to ■■■■■■■■■■■■ Leeds and Bristol.
My entry/exitpoint in Leeds is the M621 at Elland Road, j.2 I think it is.
So as I’m going down to Fenton, thing is I haven’t been across the 62, down the M6, or further down the M1 than the M18 split, or on the 38 and 50 etc for over 3 years.
Obviously I’m after the quickest route, as theres not a lot in it, I’m settled on M1 A38 A50 rather than the 62 and M6.
Point of the post is, are there any roadworks along this route that would make the 62 and M6 a better option?
I hope to be empty in Leeds and Fenton bound around 11.00am.
Im going to Aura Graphics if anyone has had any dealings with them?..

M6 is permanently forked
Take the M1 A38 A50 route no road works on M1 as they start at A52
M6 has road works from Lymm to stoke 21-16 about 20miles

Seems nothing has changed on the M6 since I was last on it then!
Do not expect it to have any wheels by Wednesday if it’s being left in an area like Fenton.

It has, its got worse. 18 miles of 50MPH roadworks if you go the M6 route.
Not to mention the clusterf**k that is the M60.
Down the M1, 38, 50… best way every time, less traffic to deal with.
Do stoke quite regular, always a38 a50.
I usually cut across 516 to cut corner off, just becarefull of the new round about though…looks like alot of cars go grass tracking across it lol

Looking at their yard on street view hope your reversing is up to scratch for a cheeky little blindside 
I’d phone ahead to find out if they have another yard that they use for trailers as that one looks very small.
drive in the business park, back into their yard I reckon. Will stop and check with their office what the score is first. cheers for the pic thou.
