What would i need to make my laptop in to a sat nav?
And how much would it cost?
I have autoroute 2004 installed on it.
You would need a GPS receiver (cost varies according to make/model), If you changed to Autoroute 2006 you would also have voice directions which Autoroute 2004 doesn’t have.
All you need is a GPS reciever, mine cost £40 two years ago, I use INFOMAP software, this has full postcode search and voice directions - about £30 for UK and £45 ish for uk / Europe .look here for an example of a mouse
The problem with Autoroute is that the maps are always out of date. Microsoft won’t pay for up to date maps, they buy old stuff, so even if you have the latest version of Autoroute, the maps contained therein are usually 2 years out of date.
