Hi guys, I’m new to the site. Got a driving assessment with Langdons in Bridgwater and wonder if we have anyone out there who works or has worked for this firm?
Days or nights?
They run trampers, night trunks, and 17t daytime multi drops.
I’ve only done the night trunks to other depots like Peterborough, Luton, Barnsley, Liverpool, and the new place at Redditch. I’ve never been to the Bridgewater depot, as this one gets done as a trailer swap at Andover or Fleet MSA. Work is straight-forward enough, but you’ll be doing Split Coupling which is totally banned at other employers like Tescos.
I work out of Bridgwater tramping all the kit is well looked after no artics over 3 year old the rigids no older than 5.
Never chased on the phone only time i speak to the planners is when i need reload info.
Office staff always helpful with directions etc.
Wages payed weekly it salary differant rates for days nights and distance also differant shift patterns, mon-fri days and night , Sun-thurs day nights and 5 on 3 off and a few 4 on 4 off
I am really enjoying it here at the moment
If you want any more info then pm cheers
