Assuming you mean glasson? It is a bit of a trail off the main roads but it’s not a problem

Make sure you choose your approach route carefully otherwise you’ll have lots of fun getting there.
Yep, A588-B5290 is a decent road to Glasson Dock.
If you want to be on the north side of the dock then you´re good.
If south? Then you are going to have to take a detour.
Reason being the road from north to south of the dock is across the lock gates. I seem to remember it being cars only.
Google maps shows it pretty well but those roads are NARROW…
its well signed posted to get to other side have to go round the back of the village down school lane turn right and follow road round till u come to dock
I remember a hump back bridge that was fairly close for a low loader/step frame

hi their mate,did you find glasson dock ok,i have not been there in years did not no it was still in use,
i thought the river had silted up.

Yeah I ended up going through Lancaster town to get to it, on the way out I took a right at the bridge
