Hi all, i’m currently looking into whats involved to get my Operators CPC Qualification, and 2 things are becoming VERY clear, firstly, the number of centres that provide this training is shockingly low, and Secondly, the variation in their prices is shockingly high!!
I’ve seen prices for the intensive 10 day training course available from just under £1400 to over £2000, even the home study packs vary from £130 to £508, can any of you recommend any good training centres anywhere in South Wales, or further East as far as Bristol?
if not, do you have any preparation advice, i’m thinking of ordering a home study pack in the very near future to casually read through bit by bit with the aim of becoming atleast partially familiar with all topics before attending a training course in June.
Any/all recommendations of centres or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Friendberry in Somerset, very good, very thorough.
Has a high passing percentage on its intensive courses.
Not related to them in any way, other as they help me to pass my CPC years ago.

Try two roads in Nottingham mate. Yes,… I kno your no where near there, but he has some excellent distance learning. It’ll give you another price to compare also with what you’ve already got… The guy you’ll talk too is the guy who owns the place, and as far as I’m aware, tailors the price, to the services that may suit you.
Even though they’re on my doorstep, he was pretty much available to answer any of my questions at any point, which was what I needed as I didn’t think I would make the weekly night school that’s available, and I didn’t think I would’ve taken the en-bloc training just before the exam .
I did mine with the RHA - says on their website they now offer training at Bristol.
Cheers lads, i’ll look into them, RHA and Friendberry are 2 i’d actually already come across and shortlisted from my online search, so getting recommendations from people who’ve used them and been successful is a big help.
