A retired haulage company boss, his wife and their family dog have been found dead in a luxury farmhouse with neighbours claiming today they died in a suspected murder-suicide.

That is shocking news, thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
There was a ‘Knights of old’ on break outside the warehouse about a week ago.
Old is a village, but the company are now based in Kettering, right next to the A14.

Poor sod, probably his wife’s health was deteriorating rapidly and he couldnt bare to be without her and his dog. More than likely wanted to leave with some form of dignity.
RIP I hope they rest in peace together.

I’ve been through Old, I’m amazed they found space to run a haulage yard, it’s a tiny place.

The yard was outside Old towards Walgrave. The yard is now the Cherry Hill housing estate with a lot of houses on it. It was quite a big yard in its day. TNT had their first Northants depot within it before moving to Wellingborough.
