I worked for killingbeks a couple of periods in the 1960s his paperwork advertised them as tracior transport specialists pulling mainly other peoples tackle mainly for northern ireland trailers the main man in those days was robbie killingbeck john ran the fitting side of things knew his job and only young too they always paid the rate and you rarely saw them broken down the fleet was always mixed i can remember a couple of tks i had an ex bp scammell the first time i was there then the proverbial atki when i went back a couple of years later i started out as a driver in 1957 drove for loads of hauliers but killingbecks where alright thanks harry long retired
