to the Fagan and Whalley driver who was southbound on the M40 at around 07.15 top tip put the newspaper down and you will find it a lot easier to keep the lorry straight when you are overtaking and won’t nearly take the front end off the lorry you are overtaking!!! and people wonder why we get bad press

Yeah, you should only read the paper in lane 1. Overtaking at the same time is downright dangerous.

lol especially when drinking a coffee and having a smoke still great things these auto boxes leave your hands free for the more important tings

Funny enough I also got cut sharply by a fagan and whalley driver a year ago! The reason I remember it because it was soo bad nearly crashed, so I phoned the number on the back of the trailer, and the desk guy wasnt interested! !!
One of their finest hit an oak tree with the top corner of his trailer about a month ago near me. The road had to be shut, so the council could attend to the remains of the tree, since it split the trunk when the branch came down.
I’m absolutely delighted to say it just about wrecked the trailer too, so no reload for that job.

Rumble strips do my head in they woke me up twice last week.
Luckily it was only a roundabout so I just reached forward from the bunk and steered her round.
Was is it a true yarn about the American that had cruise control in his new camper van , and he set it , then went in the back to make a cuppa, then with no driver driving it, the silly thing crashed, he sued and won, no warning from the makers.
