Here’s one I fished out- not very good quality but how many shots do we have of the inside of a Daf 3300 cab?? I took this on a night out somewhere and in case you’re wondering it’s The Benny Hill show on the telly !

Whats that hanging over the gearstick . . . denim underpants ?

DENIM UNDERPANTS !? Certainly not sir ! that was my old hat ! (can you actually buy denim underpants?)

thats a magic tele its not plugged in

Hello everyone and how are you ■■? Bit of a sad one today because as I write this, it’s Friday the 24th of September 2010. So why write about todays date? It’s because Twenty years ago today on the 21st of September J.W.Q. transport went out of business. Do you remember the song “Me and Bobby McGhee” ? The lyric goes : “…I’d give all my tomorrows Lord, for a single yesterday” , well maybe that’s a bit strong but how I’d love to turn the clock back and fire up B997 EDP, my old 3300, again and run up to say, Rolex with four or five of us and go and do a few drops. Still we’ll always have our tales to tell and as long as we’re all here we’ll keep the memories of “Qs” alive and kicking, so HERES TO YOU BOYS- Happy Trails- Terry.

Stop Press - Frankie Dunaway has been working with me on Waitrose, the other morning he came in, checked his motor out, then was promptly arrested ! You see the spirit of “Q Sqauadron” is still going strong ! ? Hope you’re o.k. Frank !!

Hi,been asked to put this on here.

Cheers Bubbs,

I remember Easter 1990. Dieseling up in the Bourg/Macon area, I was approached
by a gentleman in a hat with a suitcase. I honestly thought he wanted to sell me
something. Anyway the “Bob Hoskins” lookalike was a JWQ driver who had been sitting
with his broken Renault for two days …I think in Bonneville IIRC.
I guess the dealer told him it wouldn’t be ready til after Easter hols and “Bob” decided to start
thumbing it home. This must have been Easter Friday, I gave him the keys to the truck and told him to get us to
Dover as I was well out of time. he was happy and I got some rest. Think he found a JWQ driver in the wheelhouse
that got him home to Swindon.

Been asked to put this on here.

Cheers Bubbs,
