Evening all, yes I loved the fiats and the Berliet’s UGH !! Terry, that grandnipper is 21 in November, yes it was a long time ago but I do remember meeting you at Didcot. Max is fine thanks Paul, now retired and a lady of leisure. I am driving for UK Shuttle who strange to say are based in the old L&H factory. I was laid off in December but am returning later this month so still active. Not caught up with Wally yet!! Still see Matt occasionally and Martin Willis now and again. Martin lived in Mexborough for a while but returned to Reading. Didn’t like the accent!! Oh for another trip to Coatbridge and a return load of chipboard from Stirling. this is one of jwq’s old dafs which we used for truckracing on 29-30 sept 1984 at donnington we had 8 in total from the swindon depot i cant think what the reg was but will find out and let you know regaurds pigpen

Yes Terry, L & H folded around 1999/2000. The lease is held by Howard Tenens who are trying to get us out. UK Shuttle are part of the pallet network and we deliver pallets in the SN/RG/GL postcode areas. Do occasional distance, even got to Glasgow once!!! Is that right about Courages pulling out?
