Forget it, we will all be micro chipped before lond at birth negating the need for constant licensing and the like, it will be done automatically by satellite
I hate carrying the paper part of my licence round with me , the folds in the paper always seem to fall across the info they want read , & it’s wearing the print off, despite various attemps at folding it different ways 
maybe something like a plastic card might be better, & it’ll do better in the rain
