dunno but i always fine that j21 to j20 on the m1 seems to take ages, its one of the most boring sections of motoway they is i think… bugger all to look at. expect the place that sells turf…
The longest distance is westbound on the M26 from junction 2A. The next interchange is with the M25, but exiting there is not possible in this direction. The next exit from the motorway is some 18 miles later at M25 junction 6. Signs on the M26 warn of this.
M1 J14 to 15 or M4 J13 to 12, hate both them stretches with a passion
M74 junctions gotta be the winner. But i always find M6 j42 to j41 a long slog.
M20 westbound “Next Exit Godstone 18 miles” along the M26…
■■■■■■■ M6 J41 to J42 is about 18 miles as well - and quite windy at times. Boring at night, not so bad in the day with some decent scenery.
The most boring stretch I can think of has already been mentioned… Stanstead airport then nothing until the cambridge turn off at J11 about 21 miles away. Pylons, Up and down, 2 lanes, 7.5 limit in second lane, Boring Boring Boring!
On the Tube, I think the biggest distance is Chesham to Chalfont & Latimer - But can you still make this journey? I’ve never ventured on this moor park stretch of the tube in bucks, so I wouldn’t know…

At least going NB you can get off at J9 if you need to (13.3 miles, not that I’ve done it 100s of times!) - coming southbound is the one which does my head in, no exit at 9, so you get just under 18 miles from 10 down to 8. The times I’ve been daydreaming and wished I’d dived in at McDs roundabout for the toilet before having to carry on to Stansted / Birchanger!

M2 j5 - j6 is a bit of a slog
THE LONGEST UNINTERRUPTED LENGTH
The longest section of motorway between junctions occurs on the M11. The distance between junction 8 and junction 9 is 15.2 miles (24.3 km). However, junction 9 only has northbound slip roads, and in a southbound direction there is an interrupted length of 17 miles (27.1 km) between junction 10 and junction 8.
The longest distance is always between the junction you should have got off at and the same junction on the other side after going via the next one up. Bonus points for the next junction not having a roundabout but a maze of slip roads.

Yep, between 14-15. I clocked it on the trip as being 20 something miles. Lovely scenery driving through the valley and over Beattock though, shame about the sodding wind farms they’ve got there now.
How long is it between Leeming Bar and the A61 on that new bit of A1, must be 14 miles■■?
Slightly different but I always like to see the longest distance showing on the satnav before the next instruction. On way back from Austria once in Germany it said the next manoeuvre was keep left, in 520 km!

And I had a deep sigh when I drove back from Germany on Friday, and it said the next one was 169 miles, from Hannover along the Ruhr Highway. Mrs sat beside me just grunted, turned over & went back to sleep…

Just scanned taco sheet on computer and its somewhere near 25 k’s 15 and half miles.
Cheers Malc.
M74 Southbound between Junction 14 exit and Junction 15 exit is 18.6 miles according to Google Maps.
I still think it must be the longest gap.
As said, M6 J42-41 is a long way, especially at night.
Other than that, None of the ones I use are that far.
M11 j3-4 is infinity. Beat that
You never know one day they may build the London box motorway.
