I see they don’t aloud fridge trailers on after a 22:00hours
Q. Do you allow refrigerated lorries to park overnight?
A. Yes, however we operate a no noise policy between 22.00-06.00 hrs and insist that the unit is switched off for the comfort of other drivers
Surely they could put the fridge boys on a bit on there own ■■
I believe avonmouth is the same
I understand fridge trailers can be noise “I’m a fridge boy” but surely we need to park some where to…
I see hazardous is welcome
Q. I have a hazardous load, what do I need to do?
A. Our hazardous loads policy states that you must report what goods you are carrying, this should be done whilst paying for your parking ticket. All drivers of hazardous loads must report to a member of staff on arrival and park at least 6 bays away from the building and fuel tanks.
Why can’t they can’t they do this with fridges trailers
Chesterfield truck stop…jc 29, is too small for segregation…on a busy night the road round the ind -est is full too.
WOW!, just picked up the truckstop news and Junction 29 Truckstop (chesterfield) has won truckstop of the year 2013. They could probably use the overspill park up area for fridges but the sound will still carry but most park around the estate. i use this place quite a lot for fuel as the pumps are decent and take keyfuels. Dont use for parking as park in own yard. They seem to be doing everything right, got a decent cafe, shop, bar, fuel, parking, CLEAN toilets and showers and a new truck wash. Well Done J29!!
Stayed there tuesday night showers /toilets clean, nice and quiet over night ,food was good and not expencive either all in all a good place to stop
