No, I tried when Morrisons RDC closed but too many drivers at the time! I have packed driving in to work at the rail hub by tescos ATM. Better hours!
If I had to go back driving I would try and get in there, I did a few days agency with them and really enjoyed it. Jobs are via agency unfortunately!! Best bet is ADR in commercial road.

I will give that a miss for the moment.
Currently full time where I am and although I dislike it, it would be mad to give a full time job up to be thrown to the mercy of an agency.
I too had an interview when they opened their new RDC but every man and his dog went for it.

Sorry I meant the full time jobs are being handled by agency but you will work and be paid by DHL if successful. The agency are only doing recruitment.
This is how I ended up at Iceland for a short time. Didn’t really enjoy it there and went to COOP Andover instead. Really wish Morrisons were still here as I loved that job!

NEILG 14,as i said,if you cannot answer by helping a fellow driver then do not bother at all,it does not matter if they ask or not no driver should work a saturday if they have worked hard all week,if you spend all week in a cab i would have thought any tramper would be glad to hand their keys in on a friday and not see it again until sunday night or monday morning,there are a lot of decent drivers on here who do actually help fellow drivers if they need it,seems you are not one of them,i could be wrong but from what i have seen on your post maybe i am right

…they run you ragged,i know this because i had a lodger who worked for them,he was regularly doing 15 hour shifts about 3 times a week and 10 or 12 hour shifts the other 2 days and he was asked if on a friday night if he could tip on a saturday,so that was his weekend gone [or at least a good few hours of it ]and of course its tramping as he was away all week,from what he told me they never let up,once he tipped they sent him elsewhere once he tipped that again sent somewhere else for another load and he was asked to do one saturday every month…
