Sad reflection on todays standards
I’m not a follower of bike racing, but even I know the name of Joey Dunlop, one of the greatest riders ever.
I am deeply saddened by this mindless destruction.
His raced bikes were prepared by the local dealer I use — so this touches a raw nerve.
Total idiots. Joey was the man. If they catch em, give em to me. 24hrs at -25 and then a ■■■■ good beating should do it
I can not understand what would drive a ‘human being’ to commit such an act.
My deepest sympathy to Joey’s family.

Sinn Fein assembly member Philip McGuigan said: "Those responsible for the attack on the memorial garden to Joey Dunlop need to reflect long and hard about their actions.
