Does anyone have any info on the peterborough area for jobs or what the best agencies are, Moving from Harwich to boro in about a month so if anyone has any info it would be much appreciated, also what agencies deal with tescos and is the work ok??

hi mate you could manpower/driver hire i think they do royal mail but got to be clear before going in
by the way how is the black city of harwich use to see units parked on roundabouts left 4 yrs ago as there is no work there best of luck tesco do you have passport to go in or green card in for asda
Tesco’s agency is always advertising in The Stamford Mercury. Monarch Personnel 0845 1302323 £8.90-£13.30 according to this weeks advert. Haskins at Manea are advertising for trampers & a mate of mine tramps on 'fridges for DSV at Whittlesey on fairly decent money & is always asking me if I want a job as they can’t get decent trampers. If you want boxes then Wincanton at Alconbury (ex Carters) are taking on too. There’s quite a bit round here,depends what you want. Big advert this week for Fowler Welch at Desborough, tramping & some international it says. Good luck!
Harwich aint changed much bud, same as its always been i guess, working for fieldings at the mo but just had enough of dock work and wouldnt mind a bit of day work or something with about 2 nights away or week, but you know how hard that is to find, all or nothing aint it. Dont the agencies sort that out for you with the supermarkets then?

cheers flip, i was thinking about whittlesey as want to get back on fridges or boxes but just dont want to be away all week.
Try and get a proper job. You’ve got so many hoops to jump through now with agency and it’s not really worth the aggro any more.

Taskforce in the town center deal with Tesco. Come through the town when you get to Happy Snaps turn left if your coming from the Cathedral. When you get to Westgate house turn right and follow the road down they are on the left. Unless things have changed you will need to sit a driving and theory test/assessment.
Unless they have lost it Best Connection was in Ikea, they are above the Alliance and Leicester. Stand with your back to Natwest bank and walk straight it will come up on the left. Last October they signed a big contract with DHL paying around £10 for days. ( Per hour not the whole shift

they still running out of there feilding will take anyone on if they got obs going are they still running the crappie mercs which is about 14 yr old you could try there chelmsford branch they do euro work for shows concerts

Nahh to be fair fieldings are alright now, work is good, home most nights and still clearing over 400 a week, oldest truck is my 04 volvo xl and the rest are 56 plate mans, chelmsford run new mans so yea they got rid of the ■■■■ lol, cant fault them really, just the fact im moving otherwise id stay there. Do the agencies pay for the driver cpc??

Our lot are offering their lads it @ £50ish per session, I
ve refused so far, notsure where ill be in 2014, so, I ain`t paying out for something I may not need.

They are down Wentworth Street now, if you know where the old Woolworths building (new TK Maxx is) its down that street, just off Bourges Boulevard). They are ok to work for, I have been round a few and they are the only ones who I decided to go with (eg. they are slightly the better of the rest!)
ERFmarc is that who you are with now then, do they give regular work etc? cheers
