Hay, was looking to hear from anyone who trained with jld in Banbury near Oxford. How was the training ? Heard any bad storys about them ? Any feed back would be good. Thanks

I have seen posts on a few different forums such as the horse and hounds one on this training company and all without exception have be excellent reviews

They are that good that even after taking on extra instructors and buying more identical LGV vehicles they have quite a waiting time for courses

No, I do not work for or have any connection to them apart from the fact that sometimes I chat with Dig Dave who is a member of this site and owns the company but then I keep in touch with many trainers across the UK

I’m also in touch with many training school owners and instructors.

I can say that I’ve been to JLD Training and have met Big Dave (he’s not called that for nothing :open_mouth: ) and I’m able to say that they have an excellent set-up and facilities in Banbury.

Big Dave is a great guy and you’ll not go wrong if you choose JLD for your training.

I did Pete but it diverted to someone else

I did my CE test with them larst munth and would recomend them. I also did C with them larst year. thay are in the proses of geting there monovering area acredeted as a test center.

I know JLD very well. As Double D put it, Big Dave is your man at JLD. Very good training company. You will have no problems with them.

thay had hoped that it wood be but it was not when I took CE with them on 6th feb

Thank you for all your posts - JLD Driver Training operates from two centres (one in Abingdon and one in Banbury Oxfordshire) and after a DSA inspection of our Abingdon site on Friday we can now conduct tests from our own reversing area :smiley:
