No problem once i get it done ,been given a lead today on the wherabouts of some henry long photos.
By the way i found out where ashworths yard was in liverpool , turn left at the bottom of millers bridge onto regent rd,past bibbys ,under the sugar conveyer that crosses the dock rd and it was on the left . its now a scrap yd.

Where on earth did you get this photo from.Ive been in that motor many times,but it was in a sorry state by then.My dad drove it for B.Holmes waste paper ,they bought it from Geoff Simmonites on planetrees rd this would have been around 1978 ,no heater and very noisey,i

I wonder how many of todays drivers could load wool like that behind the Big J?
I used to be able to load wool but I donβt think that I ever got as tidy a load as that.

Certainly looks like him! and he hasnβt altered much.
The trailer looks like it might be the one I had at Blackburns and Ashworths got when Blackburns folded.
