To be fair the 23.5 mil is probaly the price the cargo is worth by the time its down in wraps for distribution down the pub and for the middle classes after the dinner party.
What it was worth at that level was a lot less and he was just a mug the amounts that get in the country undetected are way more than what he had.
The street value of coke is 40quid a gramme,even a thermos flask full is one hell of alot of money ,a very dangeruos game to be in,they all get greedy and caught in the end,no sympathy
Im with whoever said legalise it! Legalise it, tax it highly and sell it in government controlled shops like the Systembolaget alcohol shops in Scandinavia. Most of the danger in drugs comes from the nasty stuff they make it with, not the drug itself. And lets face it, alcohol is a way more anti social drug than the vast majority of illegal ones.
Totaly agree a lot of people take certain ilegal drugs socialy from time to time with no problem same as alcohol. Some people befome adicts some become alcoholics.
my clubbing days are behind me but i dont remember much trouble in any of the places where everyone had popped an E however down thr local cattlemarket or town centre boozers you could gaurentee a few tear ups.
