John Ingram:
id have to say the mercedes. them m.a.n’s always seem to have somthing wrong with them. the actros i have has the most milage out of all the fleet. it has done one million, an sixty five thousand k’s. ive drove it for two and a half years, and it hasnt had a spanner on it. its the same for the rest of the mercs. and them 2008 plate ones weve just got look realy well back in the old colours.
Thanks John for your information ( I suppose it`s really down to good driving ■■? ) .Perhaps our paths crossed a few years ago , : I was employed at a brewery RDC in central Scotland , one day a J R Adams Merc Actros arrived with a flat trailer to uplift a load of GKN Chep pallets for the Newcastle area , due to the very poor weather conditions that day I assisted the driver rope down the load , we had a good chat as drivers do !!! , I never got the drivers name but he did tell me he had been employed for some time with W &JR Ridings , was that you or do you know who he is ? .
No that wouldn’t of been me mate. That’s to far away for me. . I very rarely get a trip out. I have to be in the area to do all the real graft. Haha.
