Iveco Stralis 460hp

Morning,

Anybody driven the above? Wondering how they compare to Volvo/Scania in terms of expected mileage. Can they be compared?!

Also, any known issues?

Thanks,
Sophia

We’ve got 2 16 plt euro 6 ones at work ,
One has just had a new DpF and exhaust to the tune of £5.5k [emoji47]
Luckily it’s leased so leasing company picked up the bill or it would have been scrapped
It’s an Iveco say no more, you can’t compare it to a Volvo or Scania they ain’t even in the same ball park

The last time I drove one ,it had several buttons on the seat with mini air bags that could support all areas of the lower back .
But once they start going wrong, they can be a headache, especially with the electronics and drink a lot of fuel .

Ouch! I didn’t think they could be compared but know little about them. The NP sounds interesting but I haven’t come across one.

Some of them also have quite a nice cab but that is the least of my worries (albeit important). Thanks for the info.

Would be interesting to know what a Volvo or Scania would cost.

A firm got me in just before chrismas to cover them, while their merc had let them down again, this time it was diagnosed as dpf/exhaust, the replacement came in at £16k
