Does anybody know what this means??
I think it’s a general instrument cluster fault rather than just speedo as per symbol.
Has the battery gone flat and it been jump-started recently?
Nope, never had any bother with the batteries…
Typical driver, i jumped in it at 5pm today to move it across the yard and there were that many lights flashing i thought i was in blackpool. I asked him when these came on and said…Friday morning. ■■■.
It means it’s broken
It’s only an Eyeveeco, throw it away and get something nice instead.
Could be anything from a warning lamp out to a whole new instrument binnacle job. Probably need a dealer plug-in, unless it’s something obvious, if you want to clear it. Might be worth seeing if a reset clears it on it’s own without a trip to the dealer first…
Any idea what the reset sequence is?
Disconnect battery terminals and leave a good while for everything to power down. Touch the leads firmly together first and then reconnect to battery make sure you attach terminals in one swift movement or if not touch them together again. Make sure you’ve got any radio keycodes etc first though. Any phantom faults should clear though if, for example, the fault is an instrument dial backlight etc it won’t probably come back until you turn the headlights on.
