Hi,
Can anyone help me with the Iveco Daily naming system. So I think a 65C17 means that it has a GVW of 6.5t. But what does the 17 mean? Something to do with wheelbase or load area or something?
Thanks, GDL.

Not 100% certain, but manufacturers normally have some reference to the BHP of the engine on the badge, so I’m guessing it means 170bhp.
Edit: And the 65 probably does mean 6.5t as well.

Yup - now you say it, that makes sense. Thanks.
Now I wonder what possible word could begin with C that describes Iveco to a T?
Yep
75e17 7.5 tonner 170 hp
440e45 44 tonner 450 hp but they seem to only put the hp on the doors of tractor units
65C17 is 6.5 tonne C (twin wheel) 170 bhp.
Also to note S stands for single axle. I only know this as I am looking to purchase one and didn’t know what the numbers and letters meant myself so googled it last week
