Iveco and man 7.5 tonners

Was speaking to a guy over at truck busters over the phone today
The guy sounded a bit of a useless ■■■■■■
He said he had 2 X 7.5 tonners in the yard
One a man and the other an iveco
When I asked him which modal they where for he said 'no such thing a man’s a man and an ivecos an iveco

Can anyone confirm or not if there are different types of modals for the 7.5T MAN and Iveco

Thanks
B&D

MAN will be the TGL, Iveco will be the Eurocargo.

Can you still get a 6 pot eurocargo? Used to love my old one.

not in a 7.5 tonner I don’t think, only in the bigger ones.
But as starfighter says, pretty much man is a man, and iveco is an iveco

I think the 18t flavour has the six pot, pretty sure the pusdlejumper is the four.

The MAN 7.5 tonner could either be a TGL or an L2000 depending on age, or even a G90 if it’s really old. All very different vehicles!

and the iveco could(very remotly now)be a old 90’s cargo 809/811/813 (how i remember coming out of barking up the hill off the A13 fully loaded in a knackered old F reg 4 speed cargo 811

A G90! Remember them!

What about the 0815 Cargo Midnight Special? I think that’s what they were called anyway

being a pedant i know, but the iveco is a 7.2 tonne but takes a 3 tonne payload

Holy thread resurrection only 12 years too late buddy.

oh ok, theyre still bloody useless, and should stick to what theyre good for, Vans!

Both MAN and Iveco do 2 lines of “7.5 tonne” truck. What we all know as a ‘traditional’ 7.5 tonner (and will actually have a gross weight of 7490kg or whatever), is the MAN TGL and the Iveco Eurocargo.

But they also do vans/chassis cabs in the 3.5-7.5 range, for example MAN TGE (up to 5.5 tonnes) and Iveco Daily (up to 7.2 tonnes).
