I ain’t high enough really in my van,out of interest Turnip,where in Italy did you go as I don’t see that many UK boys down there,see MLC,NR Evans,EM Rogers,BJ Waters and Cranleighs,also saw one of Darleyfords at the Brenner Toll last year…

I went to a place called marano lagunare. Near Venice. Bit of a one off I think.
N R Evans,they’ve got Yellow tractor units,only ever saw one down there a couple of years ago,see Waters down there alot,god knows what they take down there.
How was the weather down there,I’ll down there in a few weeks,my mate was in Padova 2 weeks ago with no snow but once he got back to the Brenner it never stopped snowing until he got back to Calias…

I’ve never seen one of theirs since mind…hopefully weather will start getting better now,had enough of rain,snow etc etc.
we dont usually do towns or cities and i have run to rome via ventimiglia and not used anything. just pull up at pay machine just keep putting any card in and in the end it will print out a bill with your reg etc on it and pay by credit card within the time limit printed on it when you get home. easy.
we uswed to use the realy thin plastic via card for italien tolls

i think i saw one last year hading back up towards calais from paris way, i was suprised too!

I sent (when I was in the office) an Aldridge based N R Evans vehicle over to Cholet three times last year, and loaded him back from Le Mans. Crosshands and Cardington used to do regular continental stuff, but that stopped a while back.
And by-the-way… all the yellow tractors have gone now…
