week 3 all shifts 2pm to midnight work mon,tue,wed,thur (rest,fri) work sat,sun
so week 2 and 3 technically working for 6 days on consecutive weeks but thursday of week 2 is only half a day and has 46 hours of rest starting at 4pm thursday and finishing at 2pm saturday

50k per year easiest job I have ever done over 90% of the week is spent with tacho on rest

Oh I was fairly sure, but being as its my responsibility I was just checking then I can decide what shifts I want to work on week 3 to maximise MY income, at the end of the day that’s why we all do it isn’t it? Money, that’s why I do it, and not being bone idle I will happily work a 6 and 5 rota, especially on this job where I get paid for doing nothing. Best job I have ever had in my life.

If you spend so little time driving,I would take the job even if it pays a little bit less than the going rate.The last job I had,you had to earn every penny for every minute you were there,except statutory breaks.I just couldnt be bothered just for an extra £50 a week.

If you’re on break all day, you’d surely know it’s legal!!
All day would be illegal of course because there is paperwork at the starts and end of shift which as you know is other work, but if it is a quiet day then everything in between can of course be recorded on the tacho as break, it is perfectly legal to be on break even for almost an entire shift, surely you know this. For example it is perfectly legal to be on break whilst on a loading bay with your feet up watching netflix.
