I’d compare it with what’s available local to you, car prices often differ massively depending on where you are. AutoTrader is a good way to check this. Seems decently priced for a 1.2 Fiesta, that would be about 7k in the bigger name dealerships near me

Thanks Zac for your diligent reply, unfortunately the seats have white stains on them and some interior damage to the door handles.

If I was looking for a small Ford the 1.2 Zetec ? motor is probably a better bet than an eco boost.
Run it for 18 months then send it in to We Buy Any Car for maybe 2k back.

That’s exactly what the dealer said as the eco engine is no good.

I believe the 1.2 ecoboost has a wet belt system that’s been a bit problematic.

Trowbridge and changed ownership several times.

Belt £1400 to replace …after 10 yrs if it is Eco Boost.

I think I saw somewhere that the recommended belt change period has been reduced to 6 years for the ecoboost because of the problems the wet belt has had.

I could be wrong but I’m sure I saw that somewhere.

If that is the case, that car is a year overdue if not already changed then.

It seems I got it wrong about the 6 years, that’s for the Ford Transit with Eco-Boost engine.

Sorry about the confusion

1.2 is Zetec not Ecoboost ?.Ecoboost is 1.0/1.5 ?.
