I’m sure a while back there were comments regarding, hiring, conditions and pay.Does anyone have any info.
My friend is an American, who has also worked in Europe. He has heard the money is picking up again.
Not too sure but I heard there was a war on. If he tried the local army recruiting office, he could be lucky and get a start straight off.
Do you think he’d be fussy about what side he’s on?
Don’t go with the attitude of earning big money. But work for the side that pays the most.
Beware of one drop trips to Town centres, or firms that say their trucks go like a bomb

I thought it would have been an ideal job for you Phil. What with you being a big fan of the Muslims. You,d be a big hit with the Taliban. Your brother could go along to ride shotgun. :l

I don’t think KBR would take the risk.
KBR aren’t hiring.
There is uncertainty on the 2 contracts in iraq and afghanistan.

Think if you changed that “3 grand a week” to 3 grand a month you would be closer to the truth
Funny that really, in these uncertain times I would go out there for £3000 a month or a week for that matter. As you are working outside of the UK Sending your money back home you would become like all of those in the UK who send benefits and payments back from Bradistan to like the Pakistan Massive…Would your money be taxable by the UK Taxation system or not??
No, as long as you don’t return to the UK for more than 90 days in the year you are exempt.
£3000 a week for private security is a bit much, the only people who earn near that sort of cash out here now are personal bodyguards.
