I’ve heard a romour there’s a company in Manchester wanting drivers for Iran, can anyone clarify this and give me a name of the company doing it?
That sounds like a nice adventure. I’ve searched but found nothing. Would you do it?

Used to see Iranian truck coming off the ferry at Trieste, so I think they would have to allow European trucks into Iran as a bilateral agreement.
Saying that I’m sure the only UK trucks you’d see heading that way would be very specialist, I’m sure most normal freight would be a return load for te Iranians or done by Turkish companies or maybe some East Eurpeans.

You can’t arrive on a bike or car, They deal with the tourists at the airport. Trucks are ok though.

Brits lorries go to Iran… nah I dont think so! many of Iranian lorries come to UK for quite long time so will be good return loads for them or Turks will take those loads for return loads

I dont think they do it anymore, at least I didnt see any Willi Betz lorries in Riga when I was there about 3 weeks ago. I know that Kreiss was running to Afghanistan aswell, but I dont think they do it now.

Agreed… normally they wear smart trouser and shirt with smart loafer shoes! also thick moustaches just like Turks
