IPEC ?

try to be nice, wander down memory lane etc and theres alway’s a sarky ■■■■■■!

seem to remember the northern lads didnt like us cockney ■■■■■,strange innit, snow, ice, rain, we never stopped,we got it there, arthur elliot(union).and he’s depot manager■■?,bet the canteen is the best in europe, bcos thats where they all where :laughing:all bitter & twisted about gelders moving from hull, remember it well now.

IPEC (subsequently taken over by TNT, and then that by Mayne Nickless) was a huge operation in Oz (as Bert Wolters’ pics show). I can’t be sure this is an Aussie thing only, but here IPEC was known as “I Pass Every C***”

Just thought I’d pass that on

The Scania was Wim Remie

Found a few more of my Ipec photos
Is this the “original” Roadhaus?

Taken with telephoto lens as I wasn’t allowed in the inspection shed. Can’t see reg number but was Dutch 6x2 drawbar. Trailer parked on next bay.

Vascoingles; Was this your F12 before the Ipec respray?

And talking of Jan De Rijk; Slightly off the Ipec thread I know but…how about this for a “room with a view”?

And the Remie bros; Theet had this 141…but I can’t recall who had the second one pictured here (no name plate). Anyone remember the 3rd brother’s name? Wim, Theet and…?

Another Remie 141; (also pictured on page 1).
