as a workforce we have been opted into the wtd so no more working 12 hours per night etc so if i give work an individual agreement would i be able to work 12 hours per night per 24 hour period thanks

You don’t opt into the RT(WT)R you’re automatically in it, you can however opt out of parts of it but not as an individual.
Only a group of workers can opt out of the night time working limit, and you appear to be a part of a group that has not opted out so you’re stuck with it I’m afraid

If you were working 12 hours a night you will be having at least 45 minutes break in there, if not more, so the fact you do not have the opt out any more is not going to change much for you. The 10 hour night working time limit is just that working time, so with breaks and POA you can still do a 15 hours duty if you wish provided the driving and other work doesn’t total more than 10 hours.
The only issue is if you have variable start times and work patterns as the 10 hours is in a 24-hour period but if you are starting at the same time each night, and doing the same thing, it won’t be a problem.
