desypete:
do i take it that you didnt get your own way so have spent how many hours ? looking back through posts made trying to score a point ?
Nope, I voted leave. As I told you yesterday. Try to keep up. The reason I looked back to bring this up is because (as usual) carryfast is chucking his weight about and acting like an arrogant prick. Plus, im not trying to “score points”. If I was id point out that putting a random question mark in the middle of a sentence made you look like a ■■■ and combine that with your usual tripe about “look for the white faces” and you come across as a knuckle dragger with an IQ in single digits.
desypete:
of course people who voted to stay in are going to cry and people who won are going to be jumping up and down its a fact of life just like a game of football there are winners and losers
some good losers and some bad losers
Where have I said that I personally think noone should be moaning or upset at the verdict? Perhaps if you read things properly you’d see im not moaning about anyone still not accepting the verdict and was instead picking up on carryfast and the hypocrisy of him demanding the inners accept the verdict when he himself said he would do exactly the same if it went the other way. Do pay attention desy
desypete:
i know i certainly wouldn’t of been happy if the vote went the other way and we stayed in but then you would of been happy and told me to shut up moaning and accept it
so maybe the answer is to shut up moaning and accept it ?
Well no actually I wouldnt. Due to you not paying attention (maybe you saw a shiny object and it distracted you. Who knows) but I dont have an issue with anyone not liking the verdict.
So since I voted out and told you specifically yesterday that I did, I think this is an epic fail on your part desy.
Better luck next time
desypete:
the fact is we will have a points based system were people will still be able to come here to work but based on there skills they can offer our country, they will not be able to bring in there family’s and aunts / uncles / step brothers / sisters etc until they overcrowd areas. that sort of thing will be over with and over time many years balance will start to be restored. so no one will be deported but the doors will be closed to all that sort of nonsense that has been allowed to happen over so many years
Oh its a fact that we will have a points based system is it?
Pray tell where you are getting this information from because the vote was only 56 hours ago. NOTHING has been decided yet. For all you know they might decide to keep the open border policy with the rest of Europe
God I hope they do. She’s getting too big for her boots.
Who ever it is, I hope they stand up to her better than Cameron did.
Im glad she is standing up for Scotland and trying to get the best for us up here but she’s going too far and needs brought down a peg or two. I liked Cameron and a lot of his policies but she kept sticking her oar in, chucking her weight about and giving it “Scotland does not want this” without actually asking anyone. Cow
Desypete, I’ve just been talking to my Mrs about your views, she’s packing her bags as we speak and heading back to her Dutch roots. Just wondering is it ok for my 4 kids to stay here, as they are not fully British by your criteria, or maybe they have enough points to stay…get back to me on it mate, I need to know how many tickets to buy.

Shadow Cabinet resignations Lord Falconer, Shadow Justice Secretary Vernon Coaker, Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary Seema Malhotra, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury Kerry McCarthy, Shadow Secretary of State for the Environment Lucy Powell, Shadow Education Minister Lilian Greenwood, Shadow Transport Secretary Ian Murray, Shadow Scottish Secretary Gloria Del Pierro, Shadow Minister for Young People and Vote Registration Heidi Alexander, Shadow Secretary for Health
And Hilary Benn, Shadow Foreign Secretary sacked.
It never ceases to amaze me how, when the Conservatives are in one hell of a hole, Labour has the ability to shoot itself in the foot.

I was an out voter, but I certaily do not share his narrow minded opinions on this subject.

Desy moans about outers all being called racist but he cant even see the fact it is people like him and the things he says that gets us all tarred with the same brush.
Add in people like chainsaw who started a thread on here entitled “black ■■■■■■■■■ then tried to hide behind freedom of speech when it was taken down and you see where the problem lies but the irony is its them that are the problem in the first place!

If I may offer an opinion from the outside looking in.
The main beneficiaries of EU membership in England was the middle and upper classes. Its obviously reflected in the votes when you look at how different regions voted.
I lived in the UK for seven years and the class system you guys have is ridiculous. So many fee paying schools and such high university tuition fees keeping everyone in their place.
Of course the middle class wanted to stay in the EU. Most of their jobs are reliant on it and their Universities are reliant on EU funding. The financial sector is already talking about upping stakes and moving to Ireland to stay in the EU. The science and research based industries are probably eyeing up France and Ireland.
All middle class jobs.
Meanwhile the working class have been struggling for years being undercut in wages by new EU workers willing to work for minimum wage in jobs that were previously well paying ( such as truck drivers). But you can’t complain about that because its ‘racist’.
So what are you to do? You can’t upskill because you can’t afford it, you cant complain without being branded a racist and your kids can’t go to university because the cuts in your pay mean you can’t pay the tuition fees and the other training options available to them are inadequate or looked down on. They’re gonna be stuck in the same place as you only it gets worse for them. Hopefully brexit brings back well paying working class jobs.
Scotland voted to stay. No wonder, EU development funds for deprived and rural areas and cheap/free university tuition. They aren’t dealing with the wage cut rat race and watching their communities crumble around them.
The middle class are now moaning about their lot but if they had worked harder to share the wealth and benefits of EU membership they wouldn’t be in that situation.
The working class people of England had a chance to bite back. They might be cutting their nose off to spite their face but I cant see any other option.
Some of the maladies you point to are very real. But I may disagree with your analysis of causes and cures.
Fee paying schools and high university fees are terrible, agreed, but are NOT due to EU membership that I can see. (tuition fees in France average 190 euro per annum, with a high of 620euro in engineering)(mastersportal.eu/articles/35 … rance.html)
Universities were once adequately funded by central government, but it wasn`t the EU that stopped that. Our domestic politicians managed that alone.
Under investment in R & D by big business is again not the fault of the EU, surely.
Lack of “working class jobs” like truck driving is partly due to the lack of manufacturing industry. Why is that? Cheap labour in the Far East producing goods bought by UK entrepreneurs and sold here for a quick buck. And the short sighted economics of Governments of all colours.

Did not have the pleasure of reading Mr Saw’s thread, I bet it was riveting.

The best I’ve heard a driver say was: I’m not racist as I hate all black people!

very well put
i only wish i could put it that way myself but half of me likes to wind up with some sharp comments only to get some of the buggers on here to rattle but anyway you sum it up very well indeed
now lets kick the buggers out
Blimey this thread has gone a bit manic. I love chaos but seriously anyone who believes a leave vote is going to reduce migration is very much deluded.
The freedom of movement thingy is the core value of the EU and will be a major negotiation point. The game of chess has already begun, the EU has moved its first pawn (Article 50), the UK has countered with a hold your horses (game of cricket by most likely new PM).
The next EU move will be to try and apply more pressure, countered by being totally ignored.
Sanctions are possible but the World is watching, not to mention other EU member states who will be interested to watch how Britain is treated in case they find themselves in the same boat.
Interesting times ahead but the mandate by the majority is to leave, what form that takes will unfold in due course but it will be on our terms not deceided for us by this article 50 bollox.
In my ill informed opinion obviously.
TNUK readers showed a three to one majority for exit. The outcome wasn’t quite that big but they got the result they wanted. Interesting to see that the transport industry felt more strongly about the issue than the national overall sentiment. Where to go from here? Lots of problems ahead but we can all acknowledge democracy at work!
…and as it wasn’t the result I wanted should I sign the petition requesting a second referendum or is that just a bad loser demanding a “best of three”?
Oh dear - it seems that pro-Brexit ministers have had to admit now that they cannot ACTUALLY control immigration after all!
Oh - and Mr Farrage now says that he never ACTUALLY promised that the aid fund could go to the NHS instead!
(Both reported in today’s papers)
I wonder what other lies/disinformation will surface in the next few days!
