In or Out- the EU referendum mega thread

Fishface hasn’t wasted any time has she?

It’s a bit more tricky for the Scots now though, as I assume independence is going to be a little more complex than before.
I can’t see how they can keep the pound if they split.

Nice to see the eu aren’t being petty at all. You’ve put your notice in so do one now. Like leaving an ■■■■■■■■ firm. I’ve had it done twice :unamused:

She’ll have a job convincing them this time. They won’t get in the eu for years. They can’t sustain themselves in the meantime

Scotland should never have been able to vote in this. Glad they didnt influence it like predicted in the end. As they said if we leave they want out. So if we stayed they got what they want and if left get their vote to join or leave.

The turn out in Scotland was low according to the media, not our fault if they couldn’t be arsed to vote, They shouldn’t be allowed another referendum

Well Scotland better build a bloody big electrified fence (will they get an EU grant for that?) if they gain independence from the UK and re-integration with the EU, as the first gift the EU will send them will be a couple of 100,000 immigrants

I was thinking the same thing myself

Chap from polaski was muttering he won’t get his child benefit paid to his Mrs and 2 sprogs living in his homeland now we’re out.

The (IN) just do not get it they should have locked the Kinnock UP until the vote was over ,Camron should never have mentioned pensions (we have been robbed for the last 15 year)So a vote out would not make a jot to pensions. All the well heeled had their peneth but they do not wait for weeks to see a doctor ,they get their kids in private schools with low class numbers .I think the booby prize went to Corbyn " no cap on immigration numbers " no idea of life for people trying to get a home or see a doctor.

Everything I’ve read/found out is that Spain will block any Scottish application to the EU as allowing Scottish entry would force them to face the Catalan separatist issue.

Edited to add - this is apparently why they don’t view Kosovo as a nation state. So they have precedence for taking this viewpoint not just spouting hot air.

So now a vote of no confidence in Corbyn. Could his be the next head to roll?

Who says politics is boring?

I think it has to be, as I’d have thought that he has failed to represent the views of his party/electorate even more that Dodgy Dave…

Hodge is a joke though. It was party policy that he pushed. Labour were out in force. They didn’t “get the message” is rubbish. It was a vote of no confidence in labour, not its leader

All I’m seeing so far is Labour having said they need to change and ‘listen’ to their voters. But the Europhiles and the BBC carrying on with the same old remain agenda zb of whingeing and whining about Corbyn ‘losing’ them the vote, and filling the tele with remain Labour MP’s and Sturgeon etc all trying to hold on to the same old pro EU zb and trying to argue against cutting our ties with the EU.While the expected takeover of the Labour agenda by people like Kate Hoey remains sidelined and silent just as it was before.Watching the BBC’s content anyone would think that remain had won it.

While as for Labour supposedly ‘listening’ to its electorate,in the form of the required massive shift to a Eurosceptic stance that gives Hoey the initiative,bs. :imp: :unamused:

I stayed up and watched the coverage. One of the worst bits was Vince Cable and someone else saying the referendum should never have happened. Politicians are there to lead. That it only happened to deal with issues in the Tory party (that maybe true) but I consider it incredibly patronising to be told that I should have a vote on a matter like this

good he shouldn’t of been getting that paid to start with,

My sentiments exactly. The mood is so downbeat. The bias is ridiculous.

No surprise dictatorial federalists acting true to form. :bulb:

Which leaves the question why haven’t Leave gone through with at least an immediate invoking of article 50.The delay just meaning that we’re still subject to all the EU bs that we’ve voted against for much longer than we need to be.
