in-cab guitar

I want to be able to run my guitar through the trucks stereo speakers.

As far as I’m aware an electric guitar its self doesn’t need any physical power to work, ie. when its plugged into the amp it’s the amp that uses the power to amplify what the pickups are transmitting.

Does this mean that plugging a standard FM transmitter into my guitar (with jack adapter for the size) I could output the sound to the stereo?

Anyone done this before?

Doubt it. The FM transmitter probably won’t amplify the sound from the pickups.
Marshall do a small amp 15w, that runs off a 9V battery. I’ve got one at home.
It’s about £35.

It has a headphone jack, so you could plug a transmitter into that.

If I had an amp I wouldn’t need to transmit to the stereo lol

How long do those little amps last on the batts then?

There is a thing you can get for the I phone Irig I think and there’s an app that works with that

Mrs has bought me an orange crush mini amp … About 5w I think. Has a built in tuner too … That’ll do me nicely
