IMS Relocations

Anybody on here worked for IMS Relocations before?..if so,did you get paid?.
I just did a 6000km round trip to Spain/Portugal for them and am STILL waiting for my money three weeks after getting back.
They are based in Bean,Kent, just by Bluewater.
Any info would be gratefully received!.
Cheers!.

never heard of them, but maybe theyve knocked a few drivers in their time and changed their name…can you get over the fence and set light to a few trucks

Yes,but I hope it wont come to that…but I am rapidly running out of patience…I wonder if he gets a different driver every trip and makes them wait for their money…he keeps saying he hasnt been paid for this or that job yet… .boo bloody hoo!.

…he keeps saying he hasnt been paid for this or that job yet… .boo bloody hoo!.

The fact that he’s not been paid is no concequence, to you
You want paying NOW, he should have enough change to pay you.
If he’s not been paid … Tough, don’t let him lead you on. If he’s refusing to pay tell him your willing to take home to court for you monies.

He left me sitting in Spain for two days with no money for diesel or tolls then put a cheque for £1000 in my bank (he had no diesel cards!) which did me no good…he then put £500 cash in…a week later the cheque bounced. Now he owes me £537 and has paid by cheque again…and guess what…boinggggg!!!.

Me personnel, I would be straight down there, couple lads in motor and convince him that not paying me isn’t an option. Or, dependant upon your vocabulary write a very well worded letter with a official heading (either real or made up solicitors) threatening legal action

Bouncing cheques and prevarication about stumping up for diesel etc sound ominously like a business teetering on the brink of insolvency. You may need to box a bit cleverly to make sure you get paid in full before it goes under completely.

And thats the only thing that stops me from getting physical with him…but that wont last…I have had the ■■■■ taken out of me once too often.

Quick update-he paid my outstanding wages into the bank today…better late than never, but it doesnt make up for the aggro it caused me.
And if anyone wants a run to Italy next week…he has asked if I know any drivers who will do it!.
Its a 59 plate Actros megaspace-nice truck, but not sure if it comes with diesel cards!!!.

would the TC not be interested in this sort of behaviour as if he’s doing this to drivers is he working by the book

yup

just looked at their web page and to be honest none of the vehicles with the logo’s on look like they are theirs more like photshopped…

A quick Google turns up this guy:

The imsrelocations domain is registered to him under the name of Transmove - looks as if you may have gotten away lightly & maybe a warning to others.

Oh Stevie Court, he was a character but when he had Euromove it was a good firm, good work, decent tackle and paid on time everytime, seems he is struggling to keep accounts and is still ducking and diving, he used to be based in Woolwich now moved to bean.

Yeah,he had a liver/kidney transplant 5 years back so his health is not to good…he seems a nice guy but he has to wait for payment from his last job to come in before he can pay you for the most recent run…and that wasnt explained to me otherwise I would have said no!.As I said,if anyone wants a run down to Rome/San Benedetto then call him now…but have a long hard chat about money first!!.
