No and a conversation we have had many times in the past… the answer is the same now as then, is someone sues for damages, they are going to sue to the big guy who has the cash… RBI, thats us, and we are going have have to pay at the very least the extortionate fees the lawyers charge to defend … we hold the right to pass that charge on to the u er who got us into that situation,

There’s nothing wrong with it, but the statement is factually incorrect because you ie. RBI are “carrying the can” whether you like it or not.
The posts got removed because they were abusive and some possibly could be deemed as illegal. this website works to some standards of civility to all. and when I say all I mean all, no matter your personal thoughts to any section of our community.

One could take offence at the “free resource” bit you repeatedly bang on about. What you seem to be forgetting is that you’d have none of the advertising revenue that you get here and on the other RBI sites if it were not for the likes of us members, so it works both ways. Likewise, your page views would also mean absolutely ■■■■ all if it were not for us regulars who like to get involved in a good discussion/debate/argument, because there would be nothing here for them to view. Over the years I can recall several prolific members upping sticks and going elsewhere because of the OTT censoring of stuff and I can see even more leaving if you don’t rein it in a bit.

Regarding the ■■■■■ discussion, personally I think you’re being OTT on this one and the threads should be allowed to stay as the content - for the most part - is factually correct. I did wonder whether your removal of these threads may have more to do with personal feelings than any legal concerns… I’m sure you don’t need me to elaborate .

So what, well this morning I was hung out of my flat window with a ■■■, listening to a conversation amongst some local schooly birds, they were about 12 or 13 and the topic was weddings and helicopters, caravans and hotel receptionists. It was far from polite.
I cant see they were censored by their parents or the PC brigade.
One could take offence at the “free resource” bit you repeatedly bang on about. What you seem to be forgetting is that you’d have none of the advertising revenue that you get here and on the other RBI sites if it were not for the likes of us members

The HUGE majority of users here understand the rules and and accept them. less than 1% of active users tonight have even read this thread as ethey are perfectly happy using the website as it was intended If you want to make a staetment by not using TruckNet any more, then that is your right, and your input will be missed but in the overall picture I doubt you will be missed that much

Quoting percentages of users who make comments is a very weak and silly argument because you only ever get a low percentage of total users that post at all.
On this board there are only about 5% of the total users who posts on a fairly regular basis.
Only those visitors who are signed in can view the feedback forum so your “only 1% of visitors have even looked at the thread” argument is null and void.
Unless you have polled every single member and they have all responded to said poll, you cannot possibly say that “the HUGE majority of users here understand the rules and accept them”. The likelihood is that they have not even read the rules. Do you read the entire T&Cs for every forum you sign up to?
My previous post was not about me so I’ll ignore your final comment. I was speaking collectively about the regulars who keep the wheels turning here by posting and debating stuff. If the top 20 posters stopped posting, this site would be dead in the water in no time as the rest of them all agree with each other which just makes for boring reading. You only have to take a look at the “competition” to see evidence of this.

i think there quite lienent these days, i can remember a lot more ■■■■■■■■ a few years ago than there ever is these day,you can have a spat with someone and they leave you to it, few years ago they were straight in with ATTACK THE POST NOT THE POSTER now they pretty much let you get on with it.
