When it is dark, how many brain cells to work out how to turn the head lights on,see loads with side lights on only, and it seems to grey and black cars, that become invisible against the tarmac dullness.I flash them, they carry on oblivous.
on my way to work last night seen 5 cars driving around salisbury with no lights on at all stupid morons
Agreed with you on that fellow driver.
Or with lights on full beam with no thought for others. I was driving along the m4 near cardiff the other night and a car approached from behind with his full beams on. I thought he’d realise when he got closer but no. I watched traffic coming the other way flash him, probably for a mile or 2 before it disappeared from view.

I get called out to quite a few cars with headlight faults, most of the time its blown bulbs and they havent noticed until both have stopped working.
The big worry is when i check lights as part of a service and the driver hasnt noticed that dipped beam doesnt work, how long they have driven round like that is anyones guess.
I know this won’t happen but I would like everyone to note, the next time it’s chucking it down on the motorway in the daytime, spray everywhere, visibility considerably reduced, NOT the number of cars with rear fog lights unnecessarily (and illegally) on, but the number of silver and grey cars without any lights on at all! I swear it’s almost always those that merge easily into the grey road, air and sky that don’t switch them on. Count them. When I drive up the M42 in the evening at this time of year I reckon it’s “only” about 1 in 100 cars that have defective headlights.

Got my first and only complaint due to this. Grey BMW on grey road against grey sky with no lights on obscured by grey spray. Said I had tried to run him off the road. Only saw him when he flashed his lights in anger. He even called the police although I never heard anything from them. The fact he had to flash his lights to let me know he was there should have told him something. ■■■■■
How is there only about 100 drivers in the whole of the UK who are able to see the reflection of vehicle lights at night and dip their main beam before that vehicle comes into view? I am then forced to switch on my main beam a few seconds before the vehicle passes me to get revenge, I know they wont have reflexes quick enough to switch theirs back on and try and blind me again
One day car drivers will have to drive a fully laden artic for a day on a test track,to see the blind spots,i think pigs will fly one day too. They have no idea, but are so quick to judge on something they know nothing about.

Well done you win 100 trucknet points for using the word ‘professional’ in your post
No such thing as a professional driver mate, don’t be so naive
Oh look 200 trucknet points for me
When their lights are off,i just run them off the road,i didnt see you mate.
I’m night shift, I pass a car coming the opposite way every single night on a single carraigway with full beam on, he dips his lights as he approaches as a good driver should only to reveal no headlights at all and 1 single front fog light. And thats been happening for months now. If PC plod should come across this car then i’m sure there must be other legal issues like no insurance MOT road tax etc, how unfortunate iv’e not been able to read his front number plate either.

These Eastern Europeans - do you really have to drag them into every discussion?
And for my interjection here …
I hear this all the time over too “Stupid four wheeler drivers” (stupid car drivers). and I give the same answer every time…
“And what do you drive when not in a truck ?”
Not alway car drivers are stupid, al lot of them are lorry drivers off duty and a lot of lorry or truck drivers are just as stupid, so when you get home and are poodling along in your car does that make you stupid ?
Well as you posted the thing in the first place the amswer is probably … YES.
