Hi Id like to watch the tv when I come to UK(sometimes all weekend), but obviously coming from Spain, I want to inform myself first now europe is digital .The most important would be able to watch the moto.GP when the season starts,and if the PAL, SECAM,Nicam systems are still nessesary please any info would be great
Depends how much you want to spend.
The most reliable tv reception (in my opinion) is via satellite.
If you are a sky subscriber at home get yourself a multiroom package, about £10.00 per month.
When it is set up remove box from home and install in truck.
All you now need is a dish, loads to choose from on ebay just search for portable or camping satellite dish.
First couple of time you you try to point the dish at the satellite will drive you nuts! you will however soon get the hang of it.
There are some apps that will help with finding the satellite.
You can of course do the same with freeview sat box.
The bigger the dish, the further south in france you will get UK channels. The premium channels drop away as soon as you leave UK but you can get some of the freeview channels quite a way down in France.
