For any saddos in additon to me who watch it, who is is you favourite driver?
they’re all pretty crap. i can’t see why they think they are so good. The only reasonable one is Alex debagorski. and he’s caught religion.
My apologies in advance for sounding negative,but,having driven so called ‘‘ice roads’’ for 1 winter when i lived in Canada i am ashamed to say that the program is nothing like the ‘reality’ of driving in places like Canada and Northern Scandinavia in winter.The majority of people who do that work are just normal guys doing what is,a tough job in a harsh Environment.Most of the ‘‘TV’’ drivers i would not give a job moving supermarket trolleys.
Why do Rick & Hugh insist on driving toooo fast over bumpy sections? Getting thrown out of seat & around the cab like a rag doll■■?
Just slow down guys…I realise it looks great for the camera ‘wrestling’ with steering/seat bounce/swearing/blaming road etc. but there really is no need!!! Drive according to conditions!!! SLOWLY!!

Jack’s seems to have thrown a hissy fit and baled out,because the rookie was given the wide load jobs,which Jack specialises in.
I enjoy watching it and not bothered if it’s staged or not…

Did anybody notice (they keep repeating the clip) that when Pork Chop didn’t couple up properly and the trailer fell off the legs were still down, I thought was a stroke of luck or proof that some of it is staged. Also I have read Polar Bear’s book and seen some interviews, and he says that they are actually all very professional and that the programme has to make them look stupid to keep the saddos like us interested.

He’s the dream driver for any gaffer really. Jack Jesse looks like a proper pro but a big ego to keep happy, he looked like a right ■■■■ when he threw his toys out of the pram over the youngster getting the wide load.
I believe you Lisa Kelly fans will be happy as she is back in the next series. Carlile have jacked it in & it’s all based in Canada & Hugh Rowlands has got his own outfit going.
Jack, alex then lisa, pork chop is just a ■■■■ as is Rick, the teenage trucker needs to slow down and take some of the advice he’s given on board or that’ll end in tears

I think he does a good job,anyone that can put on snow chains has my vote.
Best part was when Maya took a dip in one of them hot springs in the middle of the snow in a little bikini, nice
I know he’s got a gob on him but Darrell Ward knows his stuff.
He (after a while) shone out in Canada.

Hugh and Rick. Pair of thrashers. Faster than most but spend most of their time broke down
Alex is a good watch he has a class laugh but I thought when he jackknifed the green truck it was staged. 
Out of all the shows Id watch just Alex and that girl Liza…
Jack Jessie … more like Nessie… throws his toys out his pram when he isn’t being given special treatment…
Austin Wheeler… typical of todays youth know everything about nothing…certain arrogance about him
Darrell Ward … whilst I like his go getter attitude boarders on being arrogance…
Pork chop… Dumbass redneck that’s out his depth… doesn’t like being told how to driver the Ice road way…
