I work with some real twonks

We have some good guys at my job and some complete tossers also, one such ■■■■■■, a Dominican who speaks very little English is the laziest SOB I have ever had the displeasure of knowing, he does however have some seniority as he is the second longest serving driver in my terminal, me being his supervisor, I have to listen to his constant crap but can’t even fire the man :frowning:
This guy is so lazy he won’t even drive the one mile to our Yonkers yard from the refinery to get a trailer or anything else he needs. The man was on vacation over Christmas and New Year and when he came back I asked him to go to the yard to get his new IFTA stickers for 2014, last Monday he tells me he has no IFTA stickers, when I asked why he said “there were none left” this means he waited 2 months to go one frigging mile, by which time they supply had vanished so I had to request two new stickers and the document to go with them.
We have a rule at Yonkers… Any trailer with a fault or needing service should be dropped in the yard and not at the refinery as it is no use there. This guy comes to me on Tuesday to complain (in broken English) that a new guy had collected a trailer with severe damage from Methuen MA and returned it to the refinery and it was not road worthy. I spoke to the new guy and asked him how he considered a trailer with no lights and a missing fender on the left side safe ? he didn’t notice it
Yesterday I hook to the trailer to take it to Albany for repairs and found that according to the gate pass this Dominican twonk had delivered a load on it that very morning because he was too lazy to go to the yard for a trailer, this is the same guy who had complained about it, he then had the nerve to return it to the refinery FFS.
I did complain about him, I really want this guy out so if you need a good job I need someone with common sense.

I’ve had a few problems this week with trailers dropped in the yard just silly things like lights not working and it’s ■■■■ frustrating so can feel your pain Pat

This particular git just chooses to ignore the rules. We have it as company orders that every trailer with a fault should be dropped in the yard, they are no use in the refinery and he knows it, he has to drive right by the yard when he returns. It is hell trying to get an empty tanker out once it goes into the system, I have to go to the offices, get them to find details in the system, change it to ‘Allowed to leave empty’ go back to the truck, pull the trailer on the scales (sit in line), scale it, drive off and turn around, get back in line and scale it again, then go through hell at the security gate because the idiots there insist only loaded tankers are allowed to leave unless they have documented deliveries to the refinery.

Guns are legal out there right?

Tipper Tom:
Guns are legal out there right?

Pat with a gun :unamused: FFS…no one would be safe :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Charles

This guy is far more likely to have a gun than me  If there was a gun in our house my wife would have shot me by now. He lives in the Bronx and needs one.

Your lucky to work with em Pat …

We got bloody 1000’s of them living here
