I reckon that…

…… there’ll be some serious questions asked here. At first glance it appears that the driver is completely blameless

Actually, I never noticed the handle position! I wonder how it got like that? Perhaps the trailer falling off caused it? Damned if I know.

Better happening on that quiet road than on the motorway at 56 in lane 2 though eh?:scream:

Absolutely mate, could’ve been a bad day for a lot of people. Looks like an acid barrel but it’s hard to make out the placards.

Takeover of Suttons by European co. just completed last week, not a good start!

It would never’ve happened if RR wasn’t taking the pi55 and did the Microlise photos properly.

I knew I’d done summet wrong when they told me to take a pic of my ‘KING PIN’ after the pic of my ‘legs’.:joy:

This is an old photo, it was somewhere in Scotland, I think it was distilled alcohol.

Blimey we discussed this incident ages ago.Its not recent.

Apparently it’s still there.

Bragging, again?

My conclusion was fifth wheel turntable ran out of longitudinal vertical articulation between the angle of the trailer and the unit, while climbing the hill around the bend.
The handle being pulled was probably an attempt by the driver, to make some sense of the wreckage, after the fact.
Another example of artics being used for an A frame drawbar job.
