Hi.
I have lost my digicard on Saturday and I found that out on beginning of my night shift. I reported to company that the card is lost. As that was weekend I could not report it to DVLA. On Sunday someone has brought it to my doorstep. I use it since than and I did not report it as there was no point to do so for me.
Today I was told by company that I still have to report it as soon as DVLA opens and destroy the " lost " card. Of course they said that that is the legal procedure. I was trying to find any legislation for that what they say but I did not.
Do you know anything about it ?
Thank you.

O.K. Thanks for your replies
If you lost your card and reported it and after found it you must not use it and you must wait for the new one. Old one of course goes where it supposed to go…
In my situation because I have found it before I could even report it I am still legal to use it as it was not suspended and it works.
Hope that helps if anyone has similar story in his lifetime.
Twice in the last year I forgot to take my wallet to work and my digi card was in the wallet on both occasions. I wasn’t exactly sure where the wallet was, bedroom, living room, car, in a bag, not in a bag, in the fridge or in the washing machine, therefore it was ‘lost’. I drove the shift on each occasion by taking printouts and was ready to report it lost first thing the next day but when I got in from the shift between 4 and 5am I miraculously ‘found’ my wallet, and the card, one time it was on the dining table and the other it was in the car. Just carried on using it and wrote the facts on the printouts. It wasn’t a problem with the company or the analysis people.
