Well, kind of.
I took early retirement (50) at the end of last year, and passed my class 1 in the first week of January thinking I’d walk straight into a £50k job 
Ok, not quite - I did think there’s be some agency days here and there though, but now the guilt has set in and I’ve stopped applying. I don’t want to take food off the plate of people who need the work having read some of the posts on here - this was meant to be something I could do here and there to fill the time and earn some pocket money when needed.
Ideally, a few days covering sickness / absence would be great but I guess things might pick up on that front once the Easter or Summer holidays are upon us.
Anyway - yay for me. Car to C+E, no faults, license, CPC and tacho card all arrived within a week too!
